(Lebanon, PA) – Community Health Council of Lebanon County is pleased to announce the availability of completely free, no-strings-attached, Mobile Trauma Therapy to county residents. The Council’s Connected Together Initiative is working to relieve the impact of trauma on our communities and has received funding from the PA Commission on Crime &
Delinquency to implement this free service for two years.
Mobile Trauma Therapy makes accessing needed service far easier because it allows the therapist and client to meet at a safe location most convenient to the client. That could be at a doctor’s office, school, library, or other venue providing adequate privacy. The service is easily accessed by filling out a basic referral form found at the Community Health Council’s website at http://communityhealthcouncil.com/connected-together/ or by contacting the provider, Empower the Mind, at mobiletraumatx@empowerthemind.org or by calling 717-769-5254.
In addition to this free resource for general trauma, specialized trauma therapy for survivors of sexual trauma and their significant others is available at no-cost through SARCC. Access support from a sexual assault counselor 24/7 through the SARCC support line: 717-272-5308. Habla
espanol? Tenemos terapeutas bilingües que ayudar. Llamada: 717-272-5308.
Ease of access is central to this Mobile Trauma Therapy service. No insurance or payment is required. No previous evaluation is needed.
