Welcome to the Lebanon County Bike/Ped Advisory Committee! We’re a dynamic group made up of local businesses, government officials, municipalities, townships, nonprofits, and passionate citizens, all coming together with a shared goal: making our community safer, more connected, and more vibrant. Through our efforts, we’re championing initiatives that promote active transportation like biking and walking while highlighting the physical, economic, and safety benefits that come with it. Together, we’re paving the way—literally and figuratively—for a stronger, healthier, and more inclusive community.
We’re on a mission to create a safer, more connected Lebanon County, and we’re doing it by focusing on what matters most: bicycles, pedestrians, smart policy, and community. By improving infrastructure, advocating for supportive policies, and fostering a culture that values active transportation, we’re working to ensure everyone—whether on foot or two wheels—has safe, accessible ways to get around. At the heart of it all is our commitment to building stronger connections, not just across roads and trails, but between people and the places they love.
We’re all about collaboration, and it starts with you! Everyone in the community is welcome to join our quarterly Bike/Ped meetings to share updates, discuss local happenings, and bring ideas for improvements or problem areas. From there, our subcommittees roll up their sleeves and meet monthly to advocate for change and keep bicycle and pedestrian projects moving forward. Once the groundwork is laid, we pass this information along to the Lebanon County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) to bring those ideas to the table at their meetings. Together, we’re turning conversations into action and making real progress for our community.
