These 5 young adults are part of our #IDRatherBe campaign — choosing their goals, passions, and futures over alcohol. Whether it’s serving up aces, hitting the gym, or chasing dreams, they’re showing us what it looks like to stay focused and stay strong.

Although fewer Lebanon county students report drinking compared to their state-wide counterparts, addressing underage and dangerous drinking behaviors is critical to establishing life-long wellness and drinking among youth remains a troubling health issue.

- There has been a dramatic decrease in alcohol use in 8th-12th graders over the last decade and Lebanon County is well below State Averages.
- 8.8% of all students surveyed (grades 6, 8, 10, 12) reported drinking within 30 days
- Of the students who reported consuming alcohol, over 31.9% reported getting the alcohol from parents
- 16.4% of 12th grade respondents reported using alcohol in the previous 30 days
